 Yesterday, Wednesday, February 6, 2008, also there are ceremony at Penataran Temple too. Penataran Temple is one among of several temples in Tanah Lot area. Penataran Temple located in the north of Tanah Lot Temple. Penataran Temple is a place to pray for God and his manifestation in Tanah Lot Temple for wellness and happyness. The Ceremony of Penataran Temple has two ceremony days, the first day is same as Tanah Lot Temple which is held every 210 days on “Rebo Wage, Wara Langkir”, and the second day is on “Rebo Wage, Wara Merakih” according to the Balinese calendar. And now is the first ceremony day on Buda Wage (Wednesday), Wara Langkir. According to "Rontal Siwagama", the function of Penataran Temple is as a Panti Temple or temple for families to have a pray.
Prayer or "pangempon" for Penataran Temple not just consist of one clan, but consist of three clans there are pande clan, pasek beraban clan, and pasek nyitdah clan. Besides there are one temple that called "Padmasana", there are two temple named "Ratu Pasek" and "Ratu Pande". Ceremony start from 8 AM until night time. Pemedek or prayer come from entire Tabanan regency and they come to do pray with their family. The priest who led the first ceremony is Dane Jro Mangku Pandia and pangempon or clan for the first ceremony amount 40 clan. |

Batu Bolong Temple Ceremony |

 Besides on Tanah Lot Temple, at the same time there is ceremony at Batu Bolong Temple too. Temple anniversary at Batu Bolong Temple usually performed every Rabu (Wednesday) Wage, Wara Langkir according to the Balinese calendar. Batu Bolong Temple is located 100 meters in the west side of Enjung Galuh Temple, to be exact at Enjung Batu Bolong, which is the rock that stick out in to the sea was hollow (bolong). Batu Bolong Temple was built to pray God for holiness. Enjung Batu Bolong area is a place that always used to held Melasti Ceremony and Pakelem Ceremony, where the meaning of both Ceremonies is to purify the world.
Ceremony start from 8 AM until night time. Pemedek or prayer almost came from entire Bali because Batu Bolong Temple is public temple which usually used for melasti ceremony or cleaning all of symbol of the God for bad things so that become holy. The temple anniversay ceremony of Batu Bolong Temple will take place or nyejer during three days until saturday, February 9th, 2008 and leading by priest, Jro Mangku Sena. |

Tanah Lot Temple Ceremony |

 Temple anniversary ceremony at Tanah Lot Temple executed each every six-month precisely on Buda Wage, Wara Langkir, four days after Kuningan Day, which is fall on February 6, 2008. All pemedek or prayer have started do pray start in the morning until nighttime and will take place or nyejer during three days. Thousands of Hindu people which do pray to Tanah Lot Temple come from various area in Sub-Province of Tabanan specially and Bali generally. Pujawali at Tanah Lot Temple start at 11 AM until 1 PM led by Mangku Subagia from Beraban village. But all pemedek have started pray at 4 AM local time early morning. Bustle start seen at 10 AM, and the top will happen at 1 PM until nighttime. Amount of pemedek till now have reached 750 people or about reaching the percentage of 50%.

 Tanah Lot Temple anniversary remain one day again that tomorrow, on Wednesday, February 6, 2008. Nowadays, on Tuesday, February 5, 2008 there is activity at Tanah Lot Temple that is Ngebejian Ida Bethara . Ngebejian Ida Bethara is cleaning all of equipment that will used for ceremony to Beji or source of holy water that exist at Tanah Lot Temple. The equipment are lelontek or banner, pratima-pratima or symbol of the Gods, and any other equipment, brought to Beji to be cleaned before used for temple anniversary tomorrow. Ngebejian Ida Bethara perform at 1 PM and led by Mangku Subagi as the priest of Tanah Lot Temple.
