Today, exact with "Tumpek Uduh", at Padma Parkir Temple Tanah Lot area, held "Pecaruan" ceremony. Procession have been started on 7 AM and led by "Rsi" from "Griya Tumbak Bayuh". All activity doing to protect the human being life when executing top of ceremony, on next Wednesday which called "Buda Cemeng. So that bhuta kala not disturb villagers and staf at Tanah Lot area. Pecaruan is part of Bhuta Yadnya ceremony that is give offerings for the demons or bhuta kala so that it will not disturb human being life.

Pecaruan ceremony at Padma Parkir Temple Tanah Lot is pecaruan which using various animal like dog, duck, and chicken. Besides of that also devoting segehan panca warna (five color) counted 9 piece, segehan nasi sasah counted 100 piece. While, in house yard entrance, installed sanggah cucuk ( it is made from bamboo) and there people submit banten daksina, ajuman, peras, dandanan, tumpeng ketan sesayut, penyeneng jangan-jangan and also its supply. At sanggah cucuk, draped ketipat kelan (ketupat 6 piece), sujang contain with toddy. Under the sanggah cucuk, people segehan agung asoroh, segehan manca warna 9 piece with ayam burumbun and tetabuhan, berem, freshwater and toddy.

 

After submiting pecaruan, all villagers and staff at Tanah Lot area, conducting  byakala prayascita ceremony and  natab sesayut pamyakala lara malaradan in  house yard each household. After natab then they prepare the facilitate for praying like flower, kwangen, and frankincense. First, villagers pray with empty hand called "puyung". After that continued with use some flower with red and white color called "muspa", and then use kwangen which consist of some flower with multivarious color, and there is money above the flower called "sesari". Pray with kwangen is part of muspa. The last is pray with empty hand again to say thanks to the God of fluency and amenity which have been given. Then continued with nunas "tirta" (holy water) and "bija" (holy seed).

Then after all procession of "pecaruan" have been done, all merchant at Tanah Lot area, bringing some devoting or called "meprani" to Padma Parkir Temple. The devoting consist of various fruit and also complete with flower and "sampian" above of devoting. After arrive at the Temple, then merchants also do praying and their devoting have gived holy water by the priest. After procession done, then they bringing back their devoting to their art shop or warung with bring some holy water for their art shop or warung.
