 On Friday, August 15th, 2008, at Tanah Lot Tourism Object Area held cleanliness activity from Ringdam Udayana with 30 personel. This event is aim to engreen the area of Tanah Lot. The whole staff from operational management of Tanah Lot Tourism Object also participate on this activity. This activity is started at 7 AM. Besides all staff, in this activity also participate all merchant either artshop owner, both owner, and also erratic merchant at Tanah Lot Tourism Object. This activity aim to clean Tanah Lot Tourism Object areal and prevent spreading of mosquito which cause the dengue disease. This activity is one of short-range program of Kelompok Sadar Wisata Surya Chandra Tanah Lot as one of tourism organization at Tanah Lot. The activity is routine event which executed every friday and taking place in different location every week. Like today, the activity taking place at around of Pakendungan Temple area, where all participant gather in parking area of Pakendungan Temple first. Before strarting activity, chief committee of kelompok sadar wisata Surya Chandra, I Made Sujana, give guidance about division of job for each group.
On this area, all plant which have been growth wildly, neatened used the scythe so that not bother the environment. Women bring broom, while mans bring scythe. All garbage collected, besides plant which have bothered environment neatened. Besides cleaning trees and garbage which grow wildly, all coconut coir coming from young coconut which put into the sun collected then later will be burned. This matter utilize to prevent spreading the larva of mosquito which cause the dengue disease. |
