 There are many activities you can do in Tanah Lot Object beside sightseeing, visiting temples, watching holy snakes, required holy spring, and sunset tour, especially on water sports. Some of them are surfing, kites surfing, and game fishing. First, Surfing has really gained popularity in today's Bali. As the sun approaches the horizon, you can see line of young Balinese men approaching the beach on their surfboards, controlling them with the same gracefullness as in their traditional dances, mastering the waves and penetrating the tubes. Surfing in Bali is said to have began at some time around 1970 although it is likely a lucky few were surfing the island to there selves some years before then. Bali in many peoples opinion is a surfing theme park with so many different waves on a relatively small island for all abilities and all year round consistency.

Second, Kite surfing is a combination of power kite flying, windsurfing, paragliding and wakeboarding. The sport needs a good grounding in the use of power kite flying skills. Kitesurfing, uses wind power to pull a rider through the water on a small surfboard or a kiteboard (which is like a wakeboard). Generally kiteboarding refers to a style of riding known as free-style or wakestyle where as kitesurfing is more waveriding oriented. These two styles usually require different boards and specific performance kites. Few month ago at Tanah Lot coast there are Kite surfing parade as opening ceremony on Tanah Lot Spectacular 2008. The last is game fishing. You can enjoy beautiful open water science during driving the boat while fishing. You can fishing at Batubolong coast and Tanah Lot coast area. Batubolong coast area is special to fisherman which don't have boat and wish more easy going in fishing. With fishing above reef, fisherman can more easy going and needn't fear with sea wave which at any times can install and dash down the boat. But, if fishing on this area the haul will not too much, compared with fishing to middle of ocean use boat. |
