The kwangen is one of the common small triangular offering that used by individuals for praying in certain kinds of ceremonies containing flowers, a small betel nut, and often Chinese coins or "pis bolong". It is in the shape of a small triangular or conical folded pocket, containing flowers and other ingredients and is held between the fingers as is a flower when one prays. Kwangen are used in the Balinese form of prayer called muspa (to pray with flowers). Each kwangen must contain an urip of one Pis bolong. Pis bolong are used as what is called urip, a rituall “giving life” to an object.

Canang is offered and placed both in the holy building and on the ground. Though, in Balinese understanding, ground is the ‘lowest place’, it does not mean that canang which is offered on the ground does not represent the holiness. It is because canang is composed from something which grow from the soil (the flower, the coconut leaves, and other component are from earth) that canang have to put on the ground. As a result, canang connect to its source. In addition, canang which is offered on the ground is addressed to the evil to besides also put in the holy building for the ancestors and God.

"Cane" is formation of flower and coconut leaves with various color, usually with yellow color. Cane usually used when there are wedding party and many religious ceremony in Bali.
