Today on 7 AM there was planting trees activity by all staf of Tanah Lot Management. Planting trees attend by Bendesa Adat Beraban : dr. I Wayan Arwata, Perbekel Beraban : I Made Sumawa, drh. I.N.G Putra Astawa, and I Made Sujana as Operational Manager and the leader on that activity. This activity is one of many event which have been held before such as art and culture competition until fun games to celebrate the anniversary of Tanah Lot Bali which fall on July, 1 2009, tommorrow.

The type of plants that is planted such as palms, fruit trees, ketapang trees and other types of trees with totally about 200 trees. Half from it representing the contribution from the tanah lot management. Purpose of this activity is to increase awareness of society about the importance of the various planting and maintaining trees in a sustainable in order to reduce global warming.

While the purpose of this activity is to reduce the impact of global warming, increasing absorption of carbon dioxide gas, sulfur dioxide and other pollutant; prevent flooding, drought and landslides; efforts to increase conservation plant genetic resources, forest and raise awareness of the community to plant and maintain the plant as part of attitude or culture in our daily life. The planting trees activity finish on 9 AM.
