Other than offering a magnificent sunset, the existing temples also exude a strong spiritual aura, that’s why more and more tourists coming to see them. So do not be surprised, if the tourist attraction located at Beraban village, Kediri - Tabanan or about 13 km from Tabanan town and about 20 km north of Denpasar is always flooded with tourists.

There are 5 temples spreading across the tourist attraction becoming a perfect blend of nature and culture. Almost all the temples have their own uniqueness. Batu Mejan, for instance, is a temple situated about 100 meters west of Batu Bolong Temple. Hindu community in Bali knows the Batu Mejan Temple as Beji Temple. Beji is a sacred place to get holy spring for Hindu ceremony.

Interestingly, local villagers have confidence that Batu Mejan Temple is sanctum to invoke forgiveness of God through holy water. Started by delivering an oblation, the procession is resumed with invoking holy water to get rid of evil natures. “We strongly believe the deity venerated in Batu Mejan Temple has bestowed us, the family and all the people of Bali with a safety,” said Wayan Sudarpa, a resident of Tabanan who was conducting a purificatory rite.
