The 13^th WFTGA (World Federation of Tourist Guide Associations) Convention will be held in Bali Indonesia from Sunday Jan 12, 2009 until Friday Jan 16, 2009 - Eco -tourism: The Tourist Guides Role.  WFTGA Convention of promises unparalleled opportunities for delegates and individual guides to exchange views and information. Country–representatives would be able to form small or regional groups to address their own needs and requests, and to provide advice and solutions to problems encountered. As for individual tourist guides, they would be able to learn new skills that may not be offered at their home country, and to establish new friendship and contacts. From the lectures and workshops that covers a wide variety of subjects, all participants should be able to have clearer mindset of our guiding profession and would want to enhance beyond their guiding profession.

During they stay in Bali, WFTGA groups will have so many schedules including visiting some tourism object in Bali. One of tourism object which will visited is Tanah Lot Tourism Object as one of popular tourism object in Bali. WFTGA groups will visiting Tanah Lot on 5 PM to delegates some leisure time after they done their delegate meeting, while dinner at Tanah Lot. WFTGA groups including 300 persons which come from 40 different countries in the world. This event sponsored by Head Regency of Tabanan and supported by Tanah Lot management.

Arrive at Tanah Lot Tourism Object, groups will greeted by Okokan dance at Tanah Lot parking area and have some welcome drink at dewi sinta. At same time, groups will enjoying a welcome dance "Sekar Jagat" dance. Then activity will continue with some agenda until dinner time. While WFTGA groups having dinner, will entertained with Oleg Tambulilingan performance. Last agenda is watching teh beautiful sunset  at Tanah Lot Temple and photo section. WFTGA groups will leaving Tanah Lot Tourism Object on 8 PM.
