Penyawang Temple is located in the west side of Penataran Temple. This temple was built for all prayer to pray for God and His manifestation who take place and has authority in Tanah Lot Temple as God of the ocean. If the water of the sea was of tide, Hindus people cannot pray into the Tanah Lot Temple but they can pray at Penyawang Temple. If there are ceremony on Tanah Lot Temple, Hindus people besides they pray at Tanah Lot Temple, they usually pray at Penyawang Temple too. But most of them, choose to pray at Tanah Lot Temple because they can pray at Beji Kaler or source of holy water too.
